So it’s the last week of the school year. Because of snow days, it ends on a Friday, which is satisfying for some reason. Always hated school weeks that ended on a Tuesday. What was the point? Monday was a full day you did nothing, Tuesday was a half day you sat around and looked at one another counting minutes.
Ironically, the house closing is today. It was originally 2 weeks ago. We packed up and moved out, leaving an empty house for two weeks while we annoyed a friend staying in his house. We could have stayed there and annoyed no one. And, as it turns out, on the new owners dime since he changed all the utilities over to himself on the original closing date.
So while I’ve been exercising for goal one of three, and chipping away at Stoned Sharp, novel number 2, for goal 2, my computer software for Flight has been in Maryland away from me.
